KS1 Gardeners Enjoy the Fruits of Their Labour
Our KS1 children had a busy and exciting Spring and Summer term planting, growing, and caring for a variety of fruits and vegetables. Throughout the season, they worked hard to nurture their crops, learning about the importance of watering, weeding, and providing the right conditions for healthy growth.
The children showed great enthusiasm and responsibility as they watched their plants develop from tiny seeds into thriving produce. Their patience and dedication paid off as they were able to harvest and enjoy the fruits and vegetables they had grown themselves.
This hands-on experience helped the children develop a better understanding of where food comes from, while also encouraging teamwork, perseverance, and a love of the outdoors. We are incredibly proud of their efforts and look forward to seeing what they grow next year! 🌱🍓🥕🥬
