Our Vision
At St. Peter’s, we endeavour to create inquisitive and enthusiastic historians, who are inspired to grow a deeper meaning of the past. Children will understand that enquiry-based learning develops our understanding of the past, including the concept that we don’t have all the answers. We will expose St Peter’s children to a variety of historical sources and give them the understanding of how to analyse them, makes links with them and question their content (bias). We want children to leave St Peter’s with an understanding of how history helped shape what we see today.
